2009 Colorado Chardonnay

Our 2009 Chardonnay comes from the Vinelands Vineyard in Palisade, CO. The fruit was fermented in French Oak Barrels and then aged in stainless steel tank. The wine did not proceed through malolactic fermentation. This winemaking technique produces a crisp white wine with a soft oak aroma and mouthfeel which does not overpower the fruit. The wine is unfined. 13.6% ABV

2008 Colorado Cabernet Sauvignon (Mesa)

In 2008 we produced Cabernet Sauvignon from two different vineyards. This vineyard was located on the Mesa overlooking Palisade, CO. The fruit was fermented in Stainless Steel and aged in French Oak. The wine is unfined and unfiltered. 13.7% ABV

2009 Colorado Riesling

Our 2009 Riesling was fermented to dryness in Stainless Steel. Earth treatments were used during élevage and the wine is unfiltered. Sediment in the bottle is a natural part of this winemaking practice. The fruit was grown in Palisade, within Colorado’s Grand Valley AVA. 13.3% ABV

2008 Colorado Syrah

Our 2008 Syrah was fermented in Stainless Steel and then aged in French Oak. Fermentation in Stainless Steel ensures purity of flavor and aroma in addition to protecting the wine during extended maceration. The wine is unfined and unfiltered. The fruit was grown in Palisade, within Colorado’s Grand Valley AVA. 13.6% ABV

2008 Colorado Sangiovese -- Sold Out

Our 2008 Sangiovese was fermented in stainless steel and aged in French Oak. The result is a dry red wine with soft tannins. Our wine is 100% Sangiovese with a unique light garnet color. Sangiovese, like Pinot noir, has only the 5 basic anthocyanins and as a result the wines are often light in color in the absence of blending. The wine is unfined and unfiltered; sediment in the bottle is a natural part of this traditional winemaking practice. 14.4% ABV

Aged in French Oak, our 2007 Syrah is a dry red wine with a hint of spice, a characteristic of Syrah grapes. The fruit was grown in Palisade, within Colorado’s Grand Valley AVA.

2007 Colorado Cabernet Sauvignon -- Sold Out

Our 2007 Cabernet Sauvignon was vinted from the Mueller Vineyard, a small family vineyard on the mesa above Palisade in the Grand Valley AVA. The garnet colored red wine was fermented to dryness before aging in French Oak.

Our 2008 Chardonnay comes from the Vinelands Vineyard. The fruit was dominantly fermented in French Oak barrels and then aged in stainless steel tank. A small fraction was fermented without oak to add crispness to the final blend. The wine did not proceed thru malolactic fermentation. This winemaking technique lends a soft oak aroma and mouthfeel to the wine while not overpowering the fruit. The wine is unfined and unfiltered.

Our 2007 Barrel Fermented Chardonnay also comes from the Vinelands Vineyard. The fruit was fermented and aged in a small (57 liter) french oak barrel and then aged in stainless steel tank. The wine did not proceed thru malolactic fermentation. This winemaking technique lends a soft oak aroma to the wine while not overpowering the fruit. The wine is unfined and unfiltered.
