Private Wine Events

Settembre Cellars is pleased to announce our newest offering: Private Wine Events

After discussions with so many passionate wine lovers at our tasting events we realized that festival tasting simply doesn't do full justice to the inquisitive wine lover. In an effort to offer an opportunity to share our passion for wines with you we've begun offering private tasting events where you choose the venue, attendees, wines, and topic. We'll bring the wine and winemaker. For food you decide between professional catering, self-catering, or potluck. Your degree of involvement in the event is for you to decide. We are happy to provide recipes that pair well with our wines if you choose the self-catered or potluck food option.

Venue

The venue is for you to decide: it can be at your home or any private space you choose. We'll provide the wine and wine glasses. Settembre Cellars is located in Boulder, CO. Our wine party offering is available in the Boulder and Denver areas.

Wine

Every wine has a story. We provide the wine for the event in addition to the story behind each bottle. You can choose from any of our current releases, inventory permitting, to have at the event. White, Red, a particular style? The decision is yours. We'll bring the wine with us and present it to you and your guests.

Food

Whether you want to focus on the wine and stick with the simplicity of a palate cleansing bread and water or concentrate on making the wine sing with a light afternoon or evening tapas style or full evening dinner we can help. If you prefer a hands-off event, we are happy to work with a local caterer to pair and provide the food for the event. Alternatively, if you and your guests wouldn't think of missing an opportunity to cook we would be happy to provide pairing suggestions, either working with your recipes or suggesting some of our own. For those interested, we have a host of vegan and vegetarian options.

Discussion

If you'd like to make the event even more informative, we are happy to provide a presentation on a variety of topics from basic overviews to in-depth discussions on specific sub-topics. Settembre Cellars: the wines. Wine Appreciation: wine history, wine regions, or sensory evaluation. Winemaking: basic introduction, techniques, or analysis. Winegrowing: basic introduction, cultivars, regions.

Pricing
Pricing is dependent on number of guests and event options.
